The Schmitz Family

We have decided to take up a new sport. I thought it would be great to get back out there and ride a little and see if Tyler wanted to as well. So far so good, we have been out a few times now and only one issue No broken bones so that is good. Tyler really didn’t want to get a motorcycle so we went with a used Quad for him. I picked up a 2004 Honda CRF230f that is in great condition. Here are a few pictures from our first time out. Should be more to follow.

We recently went to Tahoe with Summer’s family and I hate to say it, but I didn’t get to take any pictures.  I left my smaller camera at home and my Nikon was just too much to take especially on the slopes.

Tyler and Sierra went snow boarding for the first time this year.  I put them in lessons and they both enjoyed it and are looking forward to going more often.  Summer’s Dad put together a video of some stuff so I thought I would put it up.  I hope you enjoy it.

Summer and I recently went to the Raider game with her parents for Summer’s Dad’s Birthday. Here are a few pictures from the tailgate party and the game.

We just returned from a family trip to Disneyland.  We took the kids down there during their October break with my Mom & Jim, J.R. & Candace, Emerald, Jasmine & Madison.  Here are some of the pictures from the trip. The first is a video of Sierra after Jedi training fighting Darth Vader.

I thought I would post some newer pictures of Gunner so you can see how big he is getting.  Barney Summer’s parents dog is the Chocolate Lab.

Well the yearly deer hunting trip I do with Summer’s Dad has come and gone. Another year of hunting in California and no deer. We know the hunting isn’t the best in California, actually no where close to the best.  We had a good time and the weather was great, almost a little to warm maybe.  Here are a few pictures from the trip.

OK I know it has been 9 1/2 months since the last update and I told myself I wasn’t going to wait that long. Not to sure if anyone follows the site anymore but I just updated Sierra’s and Tyler’s page and I am getting ready to update the Misc. Page as well. Hopefully I can keep up with this a little better this year and at least do an update once a month.

I decided to do a new look for our website. We recently had some family pictures taken and I thought now would be a great time to update the look. I will update the site soon with a few more pictures as I get them. Our family portraits were taken by Gretchen Adams, who does family portraits here in the Bay Area. I know I also said I would be posting some more pictures of the San Diego trip, but I really just haven’t found the time. That’s what I get for taking so many pictures. I will try to go through them soon.

I updated Tyler & Sierra’s page with pictures from the Pumpkin Patch and a couple from the San Diego Zoo. I will be updating with more from our San Diego trip in the next few days or next weekend. Hope everyone has a good and safe Halloween.
